Abstract:The d-value(mass correction coefficient)is recognized as a pivotal parameter in the quantitative chemical analysis of fibers, designed to compensate for the mass loss of fibers during dis-solution processes, thereby ensuring the accuracy of component determination in blended textile prod-ucts.In this study, the definition of the d-value and its critical role in the quantitative analysis of cot-ton and regenerated cellulose fibers were systematically explored. The impacts of dissolution condi-tions fiber pretreatment, and reagent on the d-value were revealed,to provide references for impro-ving the accuracy of d value.
