Research on Knitting Texture Imitating Ruichang Bamboo Knitting Patterns

Abstract：Through analysing the technical performance of Ruichang Bamboo Knitting,a national intangible cultural heritage,the characteristics of Ruichang Bamboo Knitting patterns were sum-marised.Taken the typical cross pattern,tyre porcelain pattern,fence pattern,herringbone pattern,cross twill pattern and zigzag lozenge pattern of Ruichang bamboo weaving as the source of inspira-tion,the design and practice of knitting texture was carried out.Practical research shows that:the use of knitting local knitting,transferring loop,drawing needle and turning needle and other tech-niques can be achieved in knitted fabrics to imitate the effect of Ruichang bamboo weaving pattern warp and weft scorned interspersed,for knitted fabric texture design innovation to expand the creative material,but also for the inheritance of non-fraditional culture to provide a new way.
