Abstract：The evolution process of cloud patterns was studied in this article,the visual elements of Han Dynasty cloud patterns was analyzed from a semiotic perspective,and their formal rules and deep cultural connotations in the decoration process were summarized.It can promote the inheritance and development of traditional design elements.A series of silk scarf works were created with the cloud patterns of Han Dynasty as design elements.This practice provides reference for the develop-ment path of Han Dynasty cloud patterns.
