Abstract：This paper aimed to evaluate the aesthetic value of Weifang kites and its influenced on the design of national style clothing.By analysing the formal language of the transformation between kites and clothing with modern design methods,the essay aimed to promote the inheritance and devel-opment of Weifang kites,broad the design ideas of national style clothing.
