Current Status and Development of Viscoelastic Mechanics Models in the Textile Field

Abstract：The viscoelastic mechanical models were widely used to characterize the mechanical properties of textile materials.The development of viscoelastic mechanical models was summarized in the textile field from the basic principles of viscoelastic mechanical models,common mechanical mod-els and their applications in textile materials.The results show that the two-element model could re-flect the deformation characteristics of textile materials;the three-element model was general in re-flecting the stress relaxation and creep of fibers and the tensile properties of yarns;the four-element model could accurately predict the stress relaxation and creep laws of textile materials;in addition,the application of mechanical models in the field of textile composite materials was also discussed.The research on the current status of the application of viscoelastic mechanical models in textile materials provided a reference for the application of textile materials in multiple fields.
