Abstract：Art was a carrier that promote the integration of traditional culture and modern indus-trial products.Inspired by the elements of farmer paintings,clothing pattern design and application were explored in this paper,to explore new ways of clothing pattern design and inheritance of farmer paintings.Started from the artistic perspective of Rizhao farmer paintings,the artistic characteristics and application value of farmer paintings were tapped,profound design elements were integrated into clothing patterns to design clothing products.
