Expression of "New" and "Old" in Handmade Cotton Slippers and Insoles

Abstract：The article taked the rural areas in the mid west regions of Inner Mongolia as an example, mainly studied the unique artistic and technical feature of local handmade cotton slippers and insoles.It analyzed the concrete expression of "new" and "old" in the whole production process."New" mainly refers to the new materials of outer layer and "old" refers to the old materials of lining.The combination of the new and the old shows not only the folklore characteristic,but also gives consideration the aesthetics and practicality.
