Research on Using Sodium Hydroxide in Quantitative Analysis of Stainless Fiber

Abstract：The feasibility of using 40 wt% NaOH aqueous solution in analyzing fiber content in stainless fiber blended yarn were discussed in the article, according to the property of cotton be dissolved in 75 wt% sulfuric acid and polyester be dissolved in 40 wt% NaOH aqueous solution.The result shows that quantitative analysis of polyester cotton stainless blended yarn through 75 wt% sulfuric acid and 40 wt% NaOH aqueous solution method is accurate and reliable with good reproducibility.
