Analysis of Wood Pulp Fiber Dissolution Process and Testing Apparent Viscosity of the Solution

Abstract：In this paper the dissolution processes of two kinds of degummed wood pulp fibers were observed and analyzed by polarizing microscope, and content of fiber and solution temperature effected on apparent viscosity of the solution were tested by rotational viscometer.The results show that one fiber is broken into several small parts in the solution, then they are continued to dissolve.The apparent viscosity of the solution is increased with the increasing content of fiber,decreased with the increasing of temperature.
