Application of the Traditional Dragon and Phoenix Pattern in Modern Fashion Design

Abstract：The patterns of the dragon and phoenix costume design history development and appli-cation were introduced.From the aspects of modelling form,artistic style and cultural connotation, the characteristics of dragon and phoenix pattern were analyzed.It is concluded that the traditional dragon and phoenix pattern combined with aesthetic consciousness of modern fashion design,can make the garment in the eyes of the world with a new gesture,so as to achieve the best effect.
