Research on Flame Retardant Fabric Made from PANOF/ Vinyon N Fiber
Abstract：Prelim thermal insulation an inary heat treatment in oxidizing fiber （PANOF） has excellent performance of d flame-resistance, while Vinyon N possesses good wearing properties. PANOF was blended with Vinyon N in three proportions using Sirospun to investigate the blending ratio effects on the fire retardant and mechanical properties of the fabric. Results indicated that the more PANOF contained, the better the flame retardant property the fabric showed, while the poorer inten- sity and wearability the fabric performed. The flame retardant performance and wearing characteristics should be both considered when the fabric is developed.
