Mold Thickness of Flax/Polypropylene Thermoplastic Composite Effected on the Properties of the Composite
Abstract：Flax yarn and PP can he made into PP/ flax wrapped yarn, which is woven and made into PP/flax composites by hot pressing. Based on the final composite performance and the thickness of the mold,the designed mold thickness on the actual thickness and the tensile,peeling properties of the composite material were studied. The mold thickness of composite with the best performance was analysed. The results show that the appropriate thickness of the mold can produce the best perform- ance of the composite.
