A Study on Durability of Bamboo Fiber Fabric
Abstract：The durability of bamboo fiber fabric was tested,including： tensile property,tearing property,bursting property,wear-resisting and pilling resistance.It shows that the break strength,break elongation and pilling resistance of bamboo fiber fabric are very similar to those of pure cotton fabric and ramie fabric.All the three fabrics have superior resistance against external force.However,the bamboo fiber fabric is superior to the pure cotton fabric in tear strength and burst strength but not as well as the ramie fabric.Moreover the wear-resistance of bamboo fiber fabric is the best in the above fabrics.It concludes that the durability of bamboo fiber fabric is excellent.
