Abstract：This paper summarizes the development of the regional atmospheric composition numerical forecasting modelling system (GRACEs) in south China and its operational capability.We present introductions on the forecast domain,meteorological input,emission,calculating platform and concerning products in operation of GRACEs.The current situation and future development on atmospheric composition numerical forecasting model are also given.We also introduced the latest updates of CMAQ (v5.1) mechanism including photochemistry,aerosol chemistry,emission and online feedbacks.The GRACEs modeling system is expected to localize meteorological model and emission,to do frontier research on chemical mechanism and data assimilation and also to carry out the study and operation of "One Atmosphere" atmospheric composition modeling system.
