HIGH-RESOLUTION SURFACE OBJECTIVE ANALYSIS SYSTEM FOR PEARL RIVER DELTA

Abstract：An recently developed hourly surface objective analysis system is introduced. The grid distance of the system is 10km. Variational adjustment is applied to get more coherence between wind and pressure fields. Case study shows that the products of the system can provide some useful information about meso-scale systems.
