Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of early swallowing function assessment combined with the targeted grading rehabilitation nursing in patients with dysphagia after cerebral infarction. Methods:A total of 90 patients with dysphagia after cerebral infarction, admitted from December 1,2021 to December 1,2023,were divided into a reference group and a study group by the random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The routine rehabilitation nursing care was conducted in the reference group, and the early swallowing function assessment combined with the targeted graded rehabilitation nursing care was additionally implemented in the study group. The swallowing function using wadan drinking water test and swallowing function evaluation scale, nutritional index including pre-albumin and albumin,liv-ing ability using Barthel scale, quality of life using quality of life scale for swallowing function and the occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups before and after nursing care. Results:After nursing care, the WST and SSA scores of the study group were lower than those of the reference group(P<0.01),and the levels of PA and ALB indexes,BI and SWAI-QOL scores were higher than those of the reference group(P<0.05,P<0.01).The incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Early swallowing function assessment combined with the targeted grading rehabilitation nursing for patients with dysphagia after cerebral infarction can improve swallowing function, reduce the risk of complications, optimize nutritional status, and improve the quality of life and life ability of the patients.
