Abstract:Objective:To explore the effects of Snyder's hope theory and relaxation training on negative emotions and sleep quality in patients with heart failure after myocardial infarction(Post-MI HF).Methods:80 Post-MI HF patients admitted from January 1 to December 1,2022 were selected as the control group and the patients in this group received routine nursing care, and other 80 Post-MI HF patients admitted from January 1 to December 1,2023 were selected as the observation group and the patients were given nursing intervention based on Snyder's hope theory and relaxation training. The scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),cardiac function indexes and quality of life(MLHFQ)were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results:After intervention, the scores of HAMA,HAMD and PSQI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01).The left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),6-minute walking test(6MWT)and plasma B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP)in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.01).After intervention, the MLHFQ scores in the two groups were lower than those before intervention(P<0.01),and the MLHFQ scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:The nursing model based on Snyder's hope theory and relaxation training can effectively improve the negative emotions, sleep quality and cardiac function of patients with heart failure after myocardial infarction.
