Application of AIDET Communication Model Combined with Continuous Nursing Care in Breast Cancer Patients undergoing Daytime Chemo-therapy

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of AIDET communication model combined with continuous nursing care in breast cancer patients with daytime chemotherapy.Methods:A total of 82 breast cancer patients with daytime chemotherapy,admitted from March 1,2022 to September 30,2023,were selected and divided into the study group(December 16,2022 to September 30,2023)and the control group(March 1,2022 to December 15,2022)according to the order of admission,with 41 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing care,and the study group was provided AIDET communication model combined with continuous nursing care.The psycho-logical state(HAMA and HAMD),self-identity(SIS),self-care behavior ability(ESCA),medication compliance(MMAS)and quality of life(SF-36)were compared between the two groups before and after nursing care.Results:After nursing care,the scores of HAMA and HAMD in the two groups were lower than those before nursing care(P<0.05),and those in the observation group were lower than that in the control group(P<0.01).After nursing care,The SIS score,each score and total score of ESCA,MMAS score and each score of SF-36 in the two groups were higher after nursing care than those before nursing care(P<0.05),and the scores in the observation group were bet-ter than those in the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion:AIDET communication model combined with continuous nursing care can improve the psychological state of breast cancer patients with daytime chemotherapy,improve their self-identity and self-care behavior ability,and improve their medication compliance and quality of life.
