Application of Participation of Itinerant Nurses of Nuclear Medicine Section in Continuous Nursing Care in the Treatment of Patients with Radio-active Iodine-125 Particle Implantation

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of participation of itinerant nurses of nuclear medicine section in continuous nursing care in the treatment of patients with radioactive iodine-125 particle implantation.Methods:A total of 64 patients treated with radio-active iodine-125 particle implantation guided by single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT)/computed tomography(CT)from March 1,2023 to January 31,2024 were selected as the research objects.They were randomly divided into the control group and the obser-vation group,with 32 cases in each group.In the observation group,the itinerant nurses of nuclear medicine section participated in continu-ous nursing care.The mastery degree of particle implantation related knowledge,satisfaction and compliance of protective measures were observed in the two groups.Results:The mastery degree of particle implantation related knowledge,satisfaction and compliance of protective measures in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the treatment of patients with radi-oactive iodine-125 particle implantation,participation of the itinerant nurses of nuclear medicine section in continuous nursing care has a significant effect on improving patient satisfaction,promoting patient rehabilitation,strengthening patient's concept of protection,improving the compliance of the implementation of protection measures.
