Abstract:Objective:To explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing strategy based on patient-centered theory and Munro Pressure Ulcer Risk Assessment Scale in patients with brain tumor. Methods:A total of 208 patients with brain tumors admitted from Janu-ary 1,2023 to January 1,2024 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into a study group and a control group by the random number table method, with 104 cases in each group. The routine nursing care was adopted in the control group, and the comprehen-sive nursing strategy was implemented in the study group based on patient-centered theory and Munro Pressure Ulcer Risk Assessment Scale. The nursing quality, anxiety and depression(SAS and SDS)before and after nursing, quality of life(EORTC QLQ-C30),incidence of pressure injury and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:The nursing quality and EORTC QLQ-C30 score in the study group were better than those in the control group(P<0.01).After nursing care,SAS and SDS scores of the two groups were lower than those before nursing care(P<0.05),and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01).The incidence of pressure injury and nursing satisfaction in the study group were lower and better than those in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:The comprehensive nursing strategy based on patient-centered theory and Munro Pressure Ulcer Risk Assessment Scale has a significant application effect in the operating room management, which can reduce the incidence of pressure injury of brain tumor patients, improve pa-tient satisfaction, medical quality and safety, and can promote patient rehabilitation as well.
