Effect of Sleep Health Education Combined with Self-help Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Training on Perimenopausal Patients with In-somnia

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of sleep health education combined with self-help mindfulness-based stress reduction training on perimenopausal patients with insomnia.Methods:A total of 80 perimenopausal patients with insomnia,treated from April 1,2021 to Oc-tober 31,2023,were selected as the research objects.They were randomly divided into the study group and the control group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with sleep health education,and the study group was provided self-help mindfulness-based stress reduction training on the basis of sleep health education,and the intervention lasted 4 weeks in both groups.The scores of Athens In-somnia Scale(AIS),Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)and General Quality of Life Inventory-74(GQOLI-74)were compared between the two groups.Results:After intervention,the scores of AIS,HAMA and HAMD in the two groups were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05),and those in the study group were lower than in the control group(P<0.01).The GQOLI-74 scores of the two groups were higher after intervention than those before intervention(P<0.05),and the GQOLI-74 scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Sleep health education combined with mindfulness-based stress reduction training in the treatment of perimenopausal patients with insomnia can alleviate the negative emotions,reduce the symptoms of insomnia and improve the quality of life of the patients.
