Effect of multi-dimensional support nursing care under the guidance of stress system theory on patients undergoing TOET

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of multi-dimensional support nursing care under the guidance of stress system theory on stress level and postoperative pain response in patients undergoing transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy(TOET).Methods:A total of 80 pa-tients who received TOET from June 1,2022 to November 30,2023 were randomly divided into the standard group and the experimental group,with 40 patients in each group.The standard group was given routine nursing care,and the experimental group was given multi-di-mensional support nursing care under the guidance of the stress system theory.Physiological stress level[including heart rate(HR),dias-tolic blood pressure(DBP),systolic blood pressure(SBP)],psychological state(SAS,SDS),sleep quality(PSQI),quality of life(QLQ-C30)were compared between the two groups before and after operation.The degree of pain(NRS)respectively 6,12 and 48 hours after op-eration and the occurrence of postoperative complications were monitored.Results:The levels of HR,DBP,SBP and the scores of SAS,SDS,PSQI(except sleep disorder)in the experimental group were lower than those of the standard group 48 hours after operation(P<0.05,P<0.01).6,12 and 48 hours after operation,the NRS scores of the experimental group were lower than those of the standard group(P<0.05,P<0.01).48 hours after operation,the QLQ-C30 scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the standard group(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion:Multi-dimensional support nursing care under the guidance of stress system theory can reduce the physical and mental stress level of TOET patients,and can help to reduce the postoperative pain and the risk of complications so as to improve the quality of life of the patients.
