Analysis of the Effect of Combining"Inducing Yang into Yin"Acupoint Massage with Five-Tone Therapy on Improving Insomnia in Middle and Young Patients

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of combination of"inducing yang into yin"acupoint massage and five-tone therapy on impro-ving insomnia in middle and young patients.Methods:Fifty middle-aged and young insomnia patients from a tertiary Grade A comprehensive hospital in Shanghai were selected as the research subjects,and intervention was carried out using the combination of"introducing yang into yin"acupoint massage and five-tone therapy.The Pittsburgh sleep quality index was used to evaluate the sleep quality of patients before inter-vention and 30 days after intervention.Results:After receiving the intervention,the scores of all dimensions in the Pittsburgh sleep quality in-dex Scale were lower than those before the intervention(P<0.01).Conclusion:The combination of"inducing yang into yin"acupoint massage and five-tone therapy can effectively alleviate insomnia symptoms and improve sleep quality in middle-aged and young patients.
