Current Status of Functional Exercise Compliance in Parkinson's Disease Patients and Its Correlation with Hope Levels

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the current compliance status of functional exercise among patients with Parkinson's disease(PD)and analyze its relationship with hope levels,aiming to provide scientific basis for patients in psychological care and health education.Method:A total of 86 PD patients admitted from November 1,2022 to September 1,2023 were selected as the research subjects.A survey was conducted using the General Information Survey,Herth hope scale,and functional exercise compliance questionnaire,and influencing factors were analyzed based on the survey results.Results:The total score of functional exercise compliance in this group of patients is(37.21±5.87)points,and the total score of hope level is(32.78±2.77)points.The scores of all dimensions of hope level and the total score are positively correlated with functional exercise compliance(P<0.05).The results of univariate analysis showed that there were sta-tistically significant differences in the score of functional exercise compliance in terms of gender,education level,and per capita monthly in-come(P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis demonstrated that taking proactive measures and maintaining a positive outlook towards the future were influential factors positively affecting functional exercise among patients with PD(P<0.05).Conclusion:PD patients have a positive correlation between their level of desire and functional exercise,and their compliance with functional exercise is relatively low.Therefore,while helping patients with positive psychological construction,medical staff should also encourage functional exercise to achieve better rehabilitation results.
