Abstract:Objective:To explore the application effect of nursing interventions under self-determination theory(SDT)in patients under-going endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography treatment. Methods:A total of 179 patients treated with endoscopic retrograde cholan-giopancreatography from August 1,2022 to August 31,2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into control group(n=89)and study group(n=90)using the envelope method. The control group received routine care, while the study group received nursing interventions under SDT on this basis. The treatment compliance, psychological status[using Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Hamilton rating scale for depression(HAMD)],self-efficacy[using Adult Health Self-Management Ability Scale(AHSMSRS)],quality of life[using Gastrointestinal Quality of Life Index(GIQLI)],and nursing satisfaction were compared between two groups before and after in-tervention.Results:After intervention, the compliance rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After in-tervention,the HAMA and HAMD scores of both groups were lower than before intervention(P<0.05),and the study group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the AHSMSRS and GIQLI scores of both groups were higher than before intervention(P<0.05),and the study group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the research group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Nursing interventions under SDT have a health promoting effect in patients undergoing en-doscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, which can improve their treatment compliance, psychological status,self-efficacy,quality of life, and nursing satisfaction.
