Application of a Step-wise Professional Rehabilitation Nursing Care in Patients with Hip Replacement
Abstract：Objective:To explore the application and effect of a step-wise professional rehabilitation nursing care in total hip arthroplasty (THA). Methods:A total of 178 cases with THA selected from a top level hospital were randomly divided into the control group and the in-tervention group. The control group included 85 patients,and 84 patients were included in the final intervention group. The control group was given routine nursing care and rehabilitation guidance,while the intervention group was given the step-wise professional rehabilitation nursing intervention care on the basis of the control group1,3 and 6 months after discharge from the hospital,the scores of Self-rating Anxi-ety Scale(SAS),Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)and the quality of life(SF-36)were compared between two groups. Results:The SAS and SDS scores in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group at 1,3 and 6 months after discharge(P <0. 05). The scores of SF-36 scale in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group at 1,3 and 6 months af-ter discharge(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:A step-wise professional rehabilitation nursing can relieve the negative emotion of THA patients,im-prove the effect of rehabilitation and improve the quality of life.
