Application of Peer Support Intervention in Cancer Patients

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of peer support intervention in cancer patients.Methods:A total of 84 cases of tumor patients were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group ,42 cases in each group.The control group was given routine anal-gesic nursing ,and the experimental group was given peer support intervention on the basis of this.The nursing effect of the two groups was compared.Results:After the intervention,the compliance of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05),and the score of Self-rating Anxiety Scale was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Peer support intervention can improve the compliance of the cancer patients and relieve the anxiety.
