Application of Advantage Model in Diabetes Nursing Management

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of advantage model in diabetes nursing management. Methods:A total of 98 dia-betic patients who were admitted from the whole year of 2015 were selected as the control group,and received the general medication and treatment measures. The control group was offered routine nursing care. A total of 98 diabetic patients who were admitted from January to November of 2016 were selected as the research group. A multi-disciplinary nursing group was set up in the hospital to provide the research group with the advantage nursing management model. Compliance behavior evaluation,satisfaction rate of nursing care,anxiety scores and quality of life scores were observed and compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing intervention,the research group′s so-cial integration,the relationship between family members,social skills and self-care behaviors scores were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0. 01),its anxiety score was significantly lower than that in the control group(P < 0. 01). The satisfaction rate of nursing care in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0. 01),and the scores of regular review,mainte-nance medication,exercise and diet control in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group after the discharge (P < 0. 01). Conclusion:Strengthening the advantage model for diabetic patients can improve compliance behaviors after discharge,im-prove patients′ satisfaction rate of nursing care,improve patients′ quality of life and improve patients′ anxiety.
