Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of timing theory of family nursing on the quality of family care and quality of life of patients with recurrent myocardial infarction ( RMI) after percutaneous coronary intervention ( PCI) .Methods:A total of 92 cases of RMI patients who underwent PCI were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 46 cases. The control group received routine nursing and follow-up,and on the basis of this ,the observation group carried out family care based on the timing theory .3 months after in-tervention,the nursing ability and quality of life of the two groups were evaluated by the FCTI and GQOL -74,and the nursing satisfaction of the two groups was compared .Results:After 3 months′intervention ,the FCTI scores of the family members in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05);the GQOL-74 score of the family members in the observation group was sig-nificantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The family care based on the timing theory of RMI patients after PCI can improve the family care ability ,improve the quality of life and improve the relationship between nurses and patients .
