Analysis of the Correlation between Mental Resilience and Quality of Life in Hemiplegic Stroke Patients

Abstract:Objective:To study the relationship between mental resilience and quality of life in hemiplegic patients with stroke .Meth-ods:A total of 80 cases of hemiplegic patients with stoke were investigated by using the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale ( CD-RISC) and the World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale ( WHOQOL-BREF ) .Results:Stroke patients with psychological resilience score was (56.04 ±16.42),and quality of life score was(52.07 ±6.29).There are different resilience score in different age groups and different family income(P<0.05).Among them,the resilience score of the age 40 was the lowest,and the resilience score of the age 50 was the highest.The higher the income,the better the resilience.The 4 dimensions of quality of life were positively correlated with resilience (P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion:The mental resilience of stroke patients with hemiplegia is low ,and it is related to the quality of life of the patients.The medical staff should formulate specific measures to guide the stroke patients with hemiplegia and improve the level of mental elasticity in order to improve the quality of life of the patients .
