Application of Personalized Continuing Health Education in Patients with Permanent Colostomy
Abstract：Objective:To explore the application and effect of personalized continuing health education in patients with permanent colos -tomy.Methods:A total of 91 cases of patients with permanent colostomy were randomly divided into the observation group with 46 cases and the control group with 45 cases.The control group was used the conventional health education method ,while the observation group was giv-en the individualized and extended health education .The patients′compliance and self-care ability were evaluated by ESCA scale and pa-tients′compliance questionnaires .Results:After the intervention ,the ESCA scores of two groups were significantly higher than those before the intervention,and the observation group′s was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05);the compliance rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The extended and individualized health education can improve the patients 'self-care ability,enhance treatment compliance .
