Influence of Peer Support and Mutual Intervention on Quality of Life,Mental Health Status and Compliance of Patients with Chronic Renal Failure

Abstract:Objective:To explore the influence of peer support and mutual intervention on the quality of life,mental health status and compliance of patients with chronic renal failure.Methods:From November 2014 to November 2015,80 patients with chronic renal failure were selected as the control group and were treated with routine nursing care.From December 2015 to December 2016,80 patients with chronic renal failure were selected as the observation group and were treated with peer support and mutual intervention on the basis of the control group.The treatment compliance rate of the two groups was compared,and the quality of life and mental health status of the two groups were evaluated by the WHO quality of life scale(WHOQOL-100)and symptom checklist 90(SCL-90).Results:The treatment com-pliance rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);the WHOQOL-100 score of the ob-servation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);the SCL-90 score of the observation group was signifi-cantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The introduction of peer support and mutual intervention in patients with chronic renal failure can improve the quality of life of patients,improve the mental health status of patients,and improve their treatment compliance.
