Influence of Cluster Oriented Intervention on Patients Undergoing Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy after Breast Conserving Surgery
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the influence of cluster oriented intervention on the psychological status ,nutritional status and qual-ity of life in patients with breast cancer undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy after breast conserving surgery .Methods:A total of 88 cases of breast conserving surgery after chemotherapy and radiotherapy patients as the research object ,by using the random number table method,were divided into the study group and the control group with 44 cases in each group .The control group was carried out the tradi-tional nursing care ,while the study group was introduced the cluster concept based on the traditional nursing intervention .Before the inter-vention and at the end of the fourth week after the intervention ,the two groups were measured by Self-rating Anxiety Scale ( SAS) and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),were evaluated by using Mini-nutritional Assessment(MNA) to evaluate the nutritional status and were used quality of life scale to evaluate quality of life .Results:After the intervention ,the scores of SAS and SDS in the study group were sig-nificantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05),and the nutritional status of the study group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The scores of each dimension of the quality of life scale were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:For breast cancer,patients after breast conserving surgery radiotherapy and chemotherapy with cluster orien -ted interventions can help to reduce anxiety ,depression and other negative emotions ,improve the nutritional status of the patients ,improve the quality of life of patients .It is worthy of clinical promotion .
