Application of Quality Control Circle Activities in Improving the Standardized Implementation Rate of PICC in Nursing Staff

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of quality control circle activities ( QCC) in improving the standardized imple-mentation rate of PICC in nursing staff .Methods:Department staff spontaneously formed QCC group to carry out work in accordance with the ten steps of QCC ,and determined the "improving PICC maintenance standard execution rate of nursing staff"as the theme to plan , grasp the current status,set up the goal,and analyze it.According to the principle of "5W1H"strategies,including perfecting and revising the PICC maintenance process ,ORTCC model is used to formulate and improve PICC maintenance training and examination system ,to e-quip,design and use of new materials ,and to implement the strategy in stages and review .And then,the PICC maintenance standard imple-mentation rate and the work ability of the group members before and after the implementation of QCC were compared .Results:After the im-plementation of QCC ,PICC maintenance standard implementation rate of nursing staff is significantly higher than those before the imple -mentation(P<0.05).After the implementation of QCC,the circle members have different degrees of improvement in problem-solving abili-ty,team cohesion,quality of the QCC approach ,communication and coordination ability ,work responsibility and activity enthusiasm .Con-clusion:QCC activities can effectively improve the standard maintenance rate of PICC in nursing staff ,standardize the maintenance behavior of nurses,and further improve the comprehensive quality of the group members .
