Effect of Rapid Rehabilitation Nursing on Patients Undergoing Intestinal Operation

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of rapid rehabilitation nursing care on patients undergoing intestinal operation .Methods:A total of 106 cases of intestinal surgery patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group ,53 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing care ,while the observation group was given rapid rehabilitation nursing on the basis of the control group.The postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery time ,postoperative complication rate,Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS), Self-rating Depression Scale ( SDS) score and patients′satisfaction rate were compared between the two groups .Results:The observation group′s anal exhaust time ,first defecation time ,postoperative eating time ,the time of getting out of bed ,the time of extubation ,hospitaliza-tion time were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05).The incidence of nausea ,vomiting,diarrhea and constipation after operation was significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).After nursing care,SAS and SDS scores in the observa-tion group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05);patients′satisfaction rate in the observation group was signif-icantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Rapid rehabilitation nursing for patients with intestinal operation can effectively promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function ,reduce the incidence of postoperative complications ,relieve anxiety and depres-sion,and improve patient satisfaction .
