Abstract:Objective:To investigate the application and effect of continuous passive exercise combined with early rehabilitation instruction in the reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligaments (ACL)injury of the knee. Methods:A total of 500 cases of ACL reconstruction injury pa-tients were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 250 cases in each group .The control group treated with routine nursing and early rehabilitation nursing ,while the observation group was given continuous passive exercise on the basis of the control group . The knee mobility, knee function(Lysholm)scores and quality of life scale (SF-36)scores were compared between the two groups .Results:Af-ter the intervention ,two groups′knee mobility was significantly higher than that before the intervention;and the observation group′s knee mobility was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.01).Two group Lysholm scores were significantly higher than those be-fore the intervention(P<0.01),was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.01);and the observation group′s knee joint function recovery rate was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).The observation group′s SF-36 score was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.01).Conclusion:The continuous passive exercise combined with early rehabilitation instruction can effectively promote the recovery of knee joint function and improve the quality of life in patients with ACL injury reconstruction .
