Abstract:Objective:To investigate the application and effect of fast track surgery (FTS)in laparoscopic distal gastrectomy (LADG). Methods:A total of 80 patients scheduled for LADG were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 40 cases in each group .The observation group was given FTS management ,and the control group received routine nursing care .The perioperative in-dexes,Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores, the changed level of perioperative serum albumin ( ALB) and C reactive protein ( CRP) were compared between the two groups .Results:There was no difference between the amount of bleed-ing,lymph nodes dissection, surgical incision length and operative time in the two groups (P>0.05).The anal exhaust time, the ambula-tion time, the oral liquid diet time and the length of stay in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05).After the operation, the scores of SAS and SDS in the two groups were significantly lower than those before the intervention , and the observation group′s was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05).The observation group′s ALB was significantly higher at the first day,the fourth day,the seventh day than those in the control group (P<0.05),and the CRP was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:FTS concept can improve the nutritional status of patients with LADG ,reduce the physiological and psychological stress reaction ,reduce the incidence of postoperative complications ,and accelerate the rehabilitation of patients after surgery .
