Influence of Peer Support Education on Postoperative Patients with Prostate Cancer

Abstract:Objective:To explore the influence of peer support education on postoperative patients with prostate cancer .Methods:A total of 47 cases of prostate cancer patients who received routine postoperative intervention in were selected as the control group ,and 47 cases of prostate cancer patients who received peer support education were selected as the study group .The self-efficacy,quality of life and social support scores were compared between the two groups .Results:The scores of self-efficacy,quality of life and social support in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group ( P<0.05).Conclusion:Carrying out peer support education for prostate cancer patients can improve their self-efficacy ,improve their quality of life ,and improve their social support .
