Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effective perioperative nursing care of patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)undergoing modified velopharyngeal surgery. Methods:A total of 78 cases of OSAHS patients treated with modified velopharyngeal therapy were randomly divided into the study group and the control group,39 cases in each group. The control group was given routine care, and the study group was given perioperative nursing intervention. The effects of two groups of nursing care were compared. Results:The apnea hypopnea index(AHI)and the lowest pulse oxygen saturation(LSpO2)of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the scores of nursing satisfaction were significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The perioperative nursing intervention for the patients with OSAHS undergoing modified velopharyngeal surgery can effectively improve the AHI and LSpO2 indexes, and improve the patient satisfaction. It is worth popularizing in clinical practice.
