Application of Standard Collaborative Extended Care Pathway in Patients with Tuberculous Meningitis

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of standard collaborative extended nursing pathway in patients with tuberculous meningitis.Methods:72 cases of tuberculous meningitis were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 36 cases in each group.The control group was given conventional nursing,and the observation group received the standard collaborative extended nursing care pathway.The general self-efficacy scale(GSES),compliance scale and quality of life scale(SF-36)were used to assess self-efficacy,compliance and quality of life in two groups.Results:The GSES scores,compliance scores and SF-36 scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of standard collaborative extended nursing pathway in patients with tuberculous meningitis is effective and can effectively improve the patients′ self-efficacy and compliance,thereby improving the quality of life.
