Status Investigation of Job Competency of Clinical Nurses in General Hospitals of Shandong Province
Abstract：Objective:To investigate the status of job competency of clinical nurses in general hospitals of Shandong Province.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted among 900 nurses from 4 top level hospitals in Shandong Province by using self-designed questionnaire to investigate job competency for clinical nurses.Results:Clinical nurse competency score was(249.31±36.74).The scores of legal ethic practice,interpersonal relationship,leadership,education consulting,professional development,clinical nursing,critical thinking and scientific research ranged from high to low.Conclusion:The overall job competency of clinical nurses in Shandong general hospitals is on the high level,but critical thinking and scientific research ability need to be further improved.
