Application of Comprehensive Postoperative Nursing Intervention in Treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation with Transforaminal Discectomy

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the application effects of comprehensive postoperative nursing intervention in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation with transforaminal discectomy.Methods:From January to December in 2015,taking 35 lumbar disc herniation patients underwent transforaminal endoscopic surgery as the control group received routine nursing intervention after surgery.From January in 2016 to January in 2017,taking 35 lumbar disc herniation patients underwent transforaminal endoscopic surgery as the observation group was implemented comprehensive nursing intervention after operation by professional staff.The effects of two groups of nursing were compared.Results:There were statistical differences in two groups′ recovery rate,postoperative ambulation time,hospitalization time(P<0.05).After the intervention,the observation group′s Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)and the incidence of postoperative complications were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The observation group′s nursing satisfaction rate was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of the comprehensive operation for lumbar disc herniation patients with transforaminal endoscopic surgery has a good effect,can promote early rehabilitation of patients,alleviate bad mood,reduce the incidence of postoperative complications,improve nursing satisfaction rate.
