Application of Watson Humanistic Care Theory in Patients Undergoing Cardiac Surgery

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of watson humanistic care theory in patients undergoing cardiac surgery.Methods:A total of 106 cases of cardiac surgery patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 53 cases in each group.The control group was used conventional cardiac surgery perioperative nursing care,and the observation group was used watson humanistic care theory based on routine nursing care.The mental status,complication rate and recovery time were compared between the two groups before and after nursing.Results:After the intervention,the anxiety and depression scores and complication rate of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05),and the recovery time was significantly shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Watson humanistic care theory can effectively improve the psychological status of perioperative patients in cardiac surgery,reduce the incidence of complications and shorten the recovery time.
