Effects of Comprehensive Nursing Intervention on Hallucination and Delusional Symptoms of Schizophrenic Inpatients

Abstract:Objective:To explore the influence of comprehensive nursing intervention on the symptoms of hallucinations and delusions in schizophrenic inpatients.Methods:Comprehensive nursing intervention was carried out on 49 schizophrenic inpatients with hallucinations and delusions.The changes of the detection rate of hallucinations and delusions were assessed before the intervention and 2 weeks,4 weeks and 6 weeks after the intervention.The treatment and nursing compliance was compared before the intervention and 6 weeks after the intervention,and the clinical efficacy was analyzed 6 weeks after intervention.Results:Compared with that before the intervention,the detection rate of hallucinations and delusions decreased significantly along with the prolongation of intervention time (P<0.05,P<0.01).6 weeks after the intervention,the patients′ compliance with treatment and nursing was significantly higher than that before the intervention (P<0.01).The clinical effective rate was 87.8% at 6 weeks after the intervention.Conclusions:Comprehensive nursing intervention for schizophrenia can control symptoms,improve efficacy and nursing treatment compliance.
