Application of Diversified Health Education Model in Elderly Patients with Hip Fracture Surgery

Abstract:Objective:To explore the application of diversified health education model in elderly patients with hip fracture surgery.Methods:A total of 60 cases of elderly patients with hip fracture surgery were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,each with 30 cases.The control group received routine nursing care after the surgery,while the observation group was implemented a diversified health education model on the basis of the control group.The cognition of rehabilitation training,the uncertainty of illness,the compliance of rehabilitation exercise and the incidence of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) of two groups were compared.Results:The observation group cognition scores was significantly higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05),the uncertainty in illness score was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05),rehabilitation exercise compliance rate was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05),and the incidence rate of DVT was significantly lower than that of control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion:Diversified health education model helps to enhance the cognition of elderly hip fracture surgery patients and rehabilitation exercise,improve patients' illness uncertainty,improve the rehabilitation exercise compliance,prevention and reduce the incidence of lower limb DVT.
