Abstract:Objective:To explore the effects of periodic cognitive behavior intervention on patients with cervical cancer after chemotherapy. Methods:A total of 64 cases of cervical cancer patients after chemotherapy were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, each group with 32 cases. The control group was treated with conventional chemotherapy care, while the observation group was given the periodic cognitive behavioral intervention on the basis of the control group. At the time of admission and discharge, symptom checklist 90 (SCL-90) and self-designed cancer chemotherapy compliance scale were used to evaluate the psychological symptoms and treatment compliance of two groups. Results:Two groups' SCL-90 scores were significantly lower at the time of discharge than those of the same group at the time of admission (P < 0.05),and the observation group's was significantly lower than the control group's (P < 0.05).Two groups' compliance scores were significantly higher than those in the same group at the time of admission (P < 0.05),and the observation group's was significantly higher than the control group's (P < 0.05).Conclusion:The periodic cognitive behavior intervention will help to alleviate the depression and anxiety of patients with cervical cancer after chemotherapy, improve the patient's emotional, cognitive, role and physical symptoms, and help to improve the compliance of patients with chemotherapy.
