Application of Comprehensive Nursing in Patients with Rectal Cancer after Adjuvant Radiotherapy

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing in patients with rectal cancer after adjuvant radiotherapy,in order to provide a more reasonable and effective nursing countermeasures.Methods:A total of 160 patients with rectal cancer were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (n =80).The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received comprehensive nursing.The scores of Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS),the Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS),the symptom checklist 90 (SCL-90),and the quality of life scale (SF-36) were compared before and after nursing intervention between two groups.Results:After the intervention,the observation group's scores of SAS and SIDS were significantly lower than those before intervention in the same group and those of the control group (P < 0.05).The scores of SCL-90 in the control group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P <0.05).The SF-36 score of the control group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P <0.05).Conclusions:Comprehensive nursing intervention for patients with rectal cancer after adjuvant radiotherapy is helpful to enhance the psychological,physiological and quality of life of patients.It is worthy of clinic application.
