Application of Nursing Intervention of Traditional Chinese Medicine "Disease Prevention" in Treating Patients with Type 2 Diabetes

Abstract：Objective:To study application effect of nursing intervention of traditional Chinese medicine "disease prevention" in treating patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods:A total of 100 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,each with 50 cases.The control group was given routine nursing care,while the observation group was given traditional Chinese medicine nursing intervention.The blood glucose,blood pressure,blood lipid and the incidence of diabetic complications were compared between two groups.Results:After nursing intervention,the incidence rate of fasting plasma glucose(FPG),systolic blood pressure(SBP),total cholesterol(TC),and diabetic complications in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The nursing intervention of traditional Chinese medicine "disease prevention" is through the dietetic care,sports massage,emotional care,Chinese medicine intervention and other preventive measures to regulate glucolipid metabolic disorders,reduce the incidence of diabetes complications.
