Study on the Relationship between Pregnancy Stress and Social Support in the Elderly Pregnant with Twins

Abstract:Objective:To nvestigate the relationship between pregnancy stress and social support in the elderly pregnant with twins.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted on 200 cases of pregnant women who underwent prenatal examination by means of Pregnancy Stress Scale(PSRS36),Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS) and general information questionnaire.Results:The pregnant stress score(50.54±16.92),perceived social support score(69.68±9.05) points,all dimensions of perceived social support and pregnancy pressure was significantly negatively related.The complication of pregnancy,parity,perceived social support can explain the variance of pregnancy stress scores 52.3%.Conclusion:In this study,an older pregnant with twins pressure was in the middle level.So nursing staff should strengthen prenatal education,give nursing and guidance for elderly pregnant women with twins according to specific circumstances,so as to reduce the age of twin pregnancy pressure.
