Effect of Individualized Nursing Intervention on Improving the Ability of Daily Living and Dementia Severity in Patients with Alzheimer's Disease

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of individualized nursing intervention on improving the ability of daily living and dementia severity in patients with Alzheimer's disease.Methods:A total of 110 patients with senile dementia were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 55 cases in each group.The control group was given the conventional nursing,while the observation group was given the individualized nursing intervention measures.The cognitive function,life ability and the severity of dementia were compared between two groups.Results:1 and 3 months after the intervention,the scores of daily living ability and mental state of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.01),and the pathological behavior scores of dementia was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Individualized nursing intervention for patients with Alzheimer's disease,improve the patients' ability to live,improve the state of dementia,promote mental recovery,and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
